A Fall Nature Wedding in Nova Scotia | Lindsay and Prem’s Wilderness Wedding

December 2, 2020

Indian Wedding next to a lake and surrounded by forest? Don’t mind if we do!

Lindsay and Prem had the most intimate wedding at a stunning airbnb just outside of Halifax a couple Sundays ago, and boy oh boy, was it ever lovely. What with Covid making things so uncertain, they decided to scale back immensely. Instead of their 200 person wedding next year, they had an 8 person shindig a year early! It turned out freakin’ magical, so relaxed, not rushed, and full of genuine sweetness you don’t otherwise get with a big to-do… Except that the arbor fell in the lake in the morning, but it’s fine. It was rescued, hehe!

I haven’t even mentioned the beautiful light coming through the trees, how beautiful Lindsay looked in BOTH her wedding dresses. <3 It’s not every day we get to photograph a mixed culture wedding, so Kev and I were supah pumped to see all the henna and Indian dresses, jewelry, and other traditions. It did not disappoint. Everything and everyone just looked phenomenal. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.

ALSO. We drove 40 minutes for the portrait session and it was so incredibly worth it. We went to Peggy’s Cove during golden hour and sunset (yes, it was freakin’ cold, lol). BUT we got some dope landscape portraits, with itty bitty people and the grandest sky you ever did see. Not to mention it’s fall, so all the low brush was red and wonderful. Linds and Prem were absolute troopers and the photos just speak for themselves. They nailed it!

We feel really lucky they found us, and very honoured to have been part of their wedding plans. <3

Behold the beauty of their everything!
