A Herring Cove Engagement | Katelyn and Jeremy

July 31, 2020

Ain’t Nothin’ like Halifax Fog!

Honestly, we don’t really get to shoot in the foggy, misty, cloudy, Nova Scotia weather as much as much as you’d think. Most of our couples want that lovely golden sunset feel, which is amazing and we are all for shooting it! But this time, we had a couple super into something a little more moody. And I was more than excited.

We headed out to the end of Purcell’s Cove road and parked ourselves at the look off in Herring Cove. This is where Katelyn and Jeremy had their first date (basically in the middle of nowhere FYI, so hilarious!). But they are so freakin’ sweet, and so fun, we had a brilliant evening being goofy and making magic happen.

There were really neat pools of water in the rocks perfect for reflections, and a wide vista looking out toward the foggy ocean. So ominous, so vast, so dope for photos! (some would even say, MISTafying! – harrr).

Also, they had a signnnnn and it was so adorable! And the burgundy colour went so well with the forest greens, honestly everything just aligned. <3

Have a peek below at their beautiful engagement session!
