An Early Morning Maternity Session
Well, early as in 10am, hahahaaaaa. That’s early for us, hehe. ANYHOO. We popped up to Fisherman’s Cove for a sunny, bright, and fun session with Sara and David (and baby bump!). These 2 came well prepared with pumpkin props and a stuffed FOX! I’m not going to lie, Kevin and I each took a selfie with it. It was magical.
After the novelty of the fox wore off (it didn’t, we just had to contain ourselves), we got creative with the pumpkins and booties (there were also little booties!) and had a whale of a time with a pretty darn cute couple. Sara and David are super fun and laidback, and had some sweet ideas of their own for some shots.
This little gem of a spot in Eastern Passage is perfect for a shorter session, while still getting lots of variety. You got grass, rocks, sand, ocean, foresty vibes in the background and all those colourful houses! Also a sneaky view of Halifax off in the distance. And if you go at sunset, it’s wondrous.
It was just a 45 minute shoot, but they nailed it and were total naturals in front of the camera. Sara and David looked adorable, baby bump was on point, and props to their prop ideas. They were so prepared!
