We don’t post ‘em much since we are consumed by weddings and elopements BUT we loooooove when one of our couples comes to us and asks that we shoot their maternity photos (or family photos, or more couples photos, etc!).
We photographed Julia and Cam’s engagement and wedding down in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, and now their next milestone: baby belly! (But this time they came up Halifax way!).
It was Summer Solstice, and the weather was gorgeous. We headed on down to Crystal Crescent Beach for golden hour and sunset and it did not disappoint. This is one of our favourite beaches to bring couples for sessions – it has a ton of variety (not just sand – who knew!). It’s got little boardwalks, bridges, beautiful trees, and rocky coast, too.
Julia and Cam packed an adorable picnic (charcuterie box, always a winner!), matching cowboy boots (for baby, too!) and we had an absolute ball of a time. Sillies out in full force, as usual. Julia also has the most magical mermaid hair, and against her red dress those colours were poppin’!
I even got a photo with the belly of honour (we’ve dubbed this baby an official Fox and Fellow baby).
