When you think Nova Scotia wedding, it’s hard not to imagine rugged ocean, rocky beaches, and the sound of the waves. It’s what we are known for. Oceanstone in Peggy’s Cove is just the cutest seaside resort for weddings that ever was, and we adore it. You have all of those things and then some!
Alex and Lori’s wedding day was in mid November, and it was just beautiful. Cool, but not too cool. Sunny, a little breezy, and oh so stunning. They had their ceremony outside overlooking the water during golden hour, and the sky was one of the most incredible we’ve ever seen. No joke! It was next level. The light rays were streaming from the clouds over the ocean while they read their vows and it was beyond magical.
There are a lot of really special things about weddings for us at Fox and Fellow, and in the time that we’ve been doing this, we’ve have some awesome experiences. But this one really stood out for me. Alex and I met over 12 years ago working at The Bay when we were just younglings, folding shirts in the suits department. He was one of the people that actually did his job and didn’t get up to relentless tomfoolery like the handful of other boys we worked with (I won’t name any names here lol!).
K back to the present though – It was an absolute pleasure of mine to be able to document Alex and Lori’s wedding day. One never knows what the future brings and it’s lovely when opportunities like this come around. It was a tiny reunion of sorts, as another old friend from The Bay was there too. We all did a shot of tequila before I left, and let me tell you, there aren’t many groups of humans I would do that with, lol.
