Thinking of having Meat Cove Overlook Elopement?
Kate and Simon chose the most stunning location in Cape Breton to get married! Both from the UK, they travelled here to have a day celebrating their love with just the two of them.
Meat Cove overlook is a spot unlike any other in Cape Breton. The trail itself is less than 30 minutes long, and the viewpoint is unbelievable. For a day in the Summer, we barely saw any other people at the top and it was the perfect spot for their ceremony. Overlooking the rugged coastline and vast ocean, it was breathtaking.
Cape Breton is legit one of my favorite places in this world – the variety of stunning landscapes it has to offer for elopement days (and just plain hiking!) is incredible.
Meat Cove Overlook Trail is exactly as it sounds – it is a gorgeous cliff the looks out over the infamous Meat Cove. Simon and Kate officially, legally, spiritually, and in every way committed themselves to one another while standing atop this gorgeous cliffside view.
Afterward they celebrated with cake, champagne, and we flew the drone up for that amazing birds-eye view!
For the finale, we all headed to South Harbour Beach for a picnic, guitar playing, and an evening swim in the ocean. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day with the sweetest couple.
