We met Bruce and Caitlin about a year ago at Janelle and Mitch’s wedding (one of our all time favs, btw!). Bruce was one of Mitch’s groomsman, and we couldn’t have been happier when they contacted us for their special day. It seemed like such a long time coming, but we finallllyyyyy got to photograph their engagement session… and it was just perfect.
We popped up to Wolfville for a little valley morning photo op, and had The Horton Ridge Malt House all to ourselves! If you’ve never been, it’s really quite a little Nova Scotian treat. The views are beautiful, and the folk are just as lovely. 🙂 Bruce and Cait brought their pup Hugo along, and we were so excited to meet him! He’s even better in person than he was over video chat, hehe. He chubby, he happy, and he loves sitting on your feet! We got our fill of doggo snuggs, and had the best time hanging out with some of the coolest peeps.
Caitlin is convinced she looks like Chandler in photos (a reference I can appreciate, haha!) but we don’t believe her. Sorry, Cait! We have evidence that you smile like a real human! 🙂 Perhaps Bruce just brings out the best in you? 😉
After all the shooting, we grabbed lunch altogether at The Church Brewing Co in town. This girl never says no to a burger, and lemme tell you it did not disappoint. I might look like a lobster now from all the sun, but that just means my freckles will come out (after my skin falls off because I’m 50% ginger, harrrr). WORTH IT.
SO. We’ll be heading back to Wolfville in October for their beautiful backyard shindig, and we know no matter what it ends up looking like with all this Covid-fanangling, it’ll be freakin’ magical.
Behold the wonderful mix of love, art, beer, and beautiful humans, people!
