I can’t believe it’s been 5 years since our first elopement. How has an actual half a decade gone by?!
Every time I look at these photos it brings to back to one of the most loving and heartwarming ceremonies we’ve had the pleasure of witnessing. We didn’t know back then that we could make a go of things with just intimate elopements, but boy are we glad we’ve tried. This day was a huge eye-opener for Kev and I. It showed us just how magical a day can be when you make it just about yourselves, your love, and you make it authentic.
When there’s no big production, feeding a small army, and spending 2 hours going around tables to thank your guests for coming, it really opens the day up to creating something unique, intentional, and oh-so-meaningful.
Don and Jess tied the knot cliffside in Polly’s Cove in the month of June with their most closest of humans. Nova Scotia really has some incredible nature, and they really took advantage of it for their day. A tiny group of us stood looking off at this incredible ocean vista while they said their I Dos.
After celebratory champagne, we hopped down to through the cliffs for some portraits, and then took a little trip to Peggy’s Cove to finish the day off with an impromptu boat-ride, epic portraits, and just the most magical moments with this amazing couple.
Just witness them.
