Long Lake is one of our favourite spots in Halifax for shooting no matter what time of year. Winter is full of snow and beauty, Spring is full of everything in bloom, summer is whimsical and warm, and Autumn is gosh-darn stunning. 

On a gorgeous day in August, we met up with Meg and her dinosaur purse, and Clare with her sushi shirt. This all made for a really adorable summer engagement session.

It’s so nice when we meet a couple so comfortable, and such naturals at being their silly selves in from the camera. It always makes for some really unique and authentic photos, and some real cute moments. 

We got super lucky with the sun, and got some stunning golden light and a beautiful sunset to boot. We legit couldn’t have asked for better weather or better company.
