Below is our Halifax Wedding Venue Guide. Whether you’re planning something traditional or quirky, we have a venue for you!
1887 Upper Water St, Halifax, Nova Scotia
The Lower Deck is one of our favourite Halifax wedding venues. The space is rustic and it’s right on the waterfront. They can accommodate anywhere from 20-200 guests and they have an event coordinator on staff. The service is excellent here. It makes for a very relaxed experience.
8650 Peggys Cove Rd, Indian Harbour, Nova Scotia

1682 Hollis St, Halifax, Nova Scotia
The Halifax Club has some of the most classy and unique spaces in the city. It has high ceilings and lots of natural light. It’s only a couple of blocks away from the waterfront for photos. Their planning team will help you make your day special.
1751 Lower Water St, Halifax, Nova Scotia
Possibly as close to the Halifax waterfront as you can get! Cable Wharf has an epic patio you can get married on, plus their food is next level.
5425 Sackville St, Halifax, Nova Scotia
Did you know you can get married right on Citadel Hill!? It’s the perfect non-traditional wedding venue Downtown Halifax.
5440 Spring Garden Rd, Halifax, Nova Scotia
Another non-traditional and epic downtown Halifax wedding venue. The library has stunning architecture and cool views of the city. There are several different venue spaces within the library, and you can have your ceremony, dinner and reception here.
199 Old Coach Rd, Hatchet Lake, NS
Martin’s Kitchen is a rustic-chic restaurant on the edge of town. The cuisine is Italian/French fusion with local ingredients and soooo delicious. They have a beautiful outdoor awning so you can have your ceremony and reception outside no matter the weather.
Okay so Clam Harbour Beach Provincial Park is technically on the Eastern Shore, but still within HRM. It’s a great way to get a more serene, beach vibe, but still be very close to the city. Look at that sunset!
