We do live in Nova Scotia, and as such, we are bound to experience a rainy wedding day or two each season. For Erinn and Ron’s outdoor oceanside elopement, we got just that. Topped off with fog, soaking wet feet, and lots and lots of smiles!
It’s amazing when we get a couple who is just as tolerant of the rain as we are. When it’s pouring on your wedding day, you just have to cut loose and embrace it. We always get really unique, fun, and magical photos in the rain and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Why would you miss out on your portrait session just because you’ll get a little wet?? Grab an umbrella, go barefoot, and be footloose and fancy free!
We are so lucky to have met such lovely, kind, and easy-going humans. Spending an elopement day with just them and their adult kids was such an awesome and genuine experience. And certainly even more so for them, just sharing their special day with the ones that matter most.
They booked an adorable airbnb for a few nights just off High Head Trial overlooking the most stunning views of the rocky coast, and oceanside cliffs. We showed up ready to go for some getting ready photos, a wet and windy ceremony, a gorgeous portrait session through the trails, and my favourite part – cake! Oh and naturally some vino, a real cute first dance, and some celebration with the fam. 🙂
Be like Erinn and Ron! <3
