Sarah and Shayne | Summer Wedding

Thank You Nova Scotia Wind!

Firstly, we got a perfectly beautiful day. How lucky! We had clouds, we had sun, we had wind, and just enough warmth so we didn’t die in the sun. Yay! Sarah had a long flowing veil that nearly lifted her off the ground when we were outside, but hot-damn did it look nifty all tangled in the wind. Worth it!

We had the pleasure of photographing Sarah and Shayne last November for their beachy engagement shoot, so it was a breeze for them to be in front of the camera again. Especially on a much warmer day where no hats were required, hehe.

My favorite part during their wedding was probably when all the bridesmaids were daintily adding food to their plates at the buffet, and I was shovelling mine on in mountainous proportions. ;) Girls gotta eat!

All fun aside, we had a really awesome time hanging out with these two and are so glad they chose us as their photographers. We felt so welcomed by them, and everyone else. This is the thing about Halifax weddings that I love the most. Everyone is always so kind, and always invites us to join in on all the fun. I get to get my dance on, and Kevin awaits eagerly for them to play Single Ladies so he can show off his sweet Beyonce moves. Never gets old!

We really hope our photos do this amazing couple justice!
