Firstly, let me just say how incredibly calm, sweet, and good-natured Brittany and Joe were. They embraced the hurricane and just made it part of their day, and that is absolutely the best attitude ever. We always say that no matter what happens on your wedding day, it’s still going to be amazing because it’s YOURS. We are so happy these two just went with the flow. 🙂 They were silly and beautiful and wonderful and boy was it evident! Also, Halifax sure knows how to put on a show. 😉 Hello windy!
Because Brittany and Joe live in Toronto, we didn’t have the opportunity to do an engagement session with them. We had a drink date a couple of days before the wedding, and it was so lovely to chat and get to know them better in person. They are both so animated, funny, and really warm humans. When we meet a couple like that, we are always so excited to photograph their big day! It was a 12 hour day for us, and even though we were exhausted we stayed for an extra couple hours to hang out and get our dance on. It’s so awesome when a couple makes you feel like part of the gang! It’s kind of our favorite thing ever, to be honest.
Although Nova Scotia can be a little weather temperamental, we kinda hit the couple jackpot. <3
See for yourselves!!
