Easily one of our favourite venues, Harbour Mist is a stunning French-inspired villa situated on the rugged Nova Scotian coast. Renée and Keegan had the most intimate elopement here in October, and it was pure perfection.
With less than 10 people in total (just their best friends and parents) it was truly so special, relaxed, heartwarming, and altogether completely stress-free. Renée’s Mom made the most scrumptiously fantastic carrot cake and cupcakes that we ever did experience, and she was kind enough to send us home with a couple at the end of the day. I mean, by this point ya’ll know how much I love cake so I’ll be talking about this for a while! (Thanks Aline! <3)
With Renée being a writer, and Keegan being a mushroom forager, there was bound to be a very captivating aesthetic to the decor. Mix that in with fall vibes, and boy oh boy did it not disappoint! All the little details were so incredibly THEM, and it was beautiful for us to capture. Not to mention they are an incredibly sweet, adorable, and all around beautiful couple.
And to top it off, Renée was legit wearing my favourite colour dress. A stunning forest green, and it was magical. We LOVE when a bride totally owns it and doesn’t wear white for her wedding. Without exception they made this day their own, and it’s just our favourite thing to see.
